LOEWE seasonal collection inspired by Mackintosh, now available at Le Bon Marché
This holiday season, LOEWE hosts two pop ups celebrating the launch of its seasonal collection, inspired by the renowned Scottish architect Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1914).
LOEWE is paying tribute to the designer with Ready-to-Wear for men and women and a full Accessories line that explore the aesthetics and essence of his architecture, interiors, paintings and furniture.
The collection’s Accessories showcase advanced leather craft techniques, from marquetry and layered stitching to meticulous see-through effects, all used to reflect the sinuous lines and graphic elements Mackintosh was celebrated for.
The Ready-to-Wear range consists of garments that summon the spirit of their source with rich cashmeres, silks and mohairs in earthy rusts and sand tones. Most strikingly, LOEWE has transposed Mackintosh’s botanical watercolours onto luscious coats and blankets.
