Alessandro brogue shoes
Since 1895, Berluti has been outfitting elegant men with fine footwear; it was in that year that Alessandro Brogues were created. Bearing its designer's first name, this 3-grommet lace-up shoe has been reinterpreted on a regular basis. With each passing generation, styles from the Alessandro range bring something new to enhance their essential qualities, such as their construction from a single piece of leather, their perfect patina, and the unrivalled suppleness of the contrasting calfskin lining.
- To preserve its natural shine, a few rules apply. Besides avoiding wear on consecutive days, and resting them on wooden shoetrees when unworn, regular care should be maintained: begin by removing all impurities using a soft cloth; nourish and protect the leather with a colorless wax and polish to guarantee shine, making sure to select a shade slightly lighter than the color of the leather. Each Berluti pair is unique, like the woman who wears them, and you have final say on the patina of your pair. Between the first and second patina, it is recommended that the shoes be worn, so the leather may adapt to walk patterns, allowing colorists to work on the folds and the leather according to your wishes. Indeed, the patina can be adapted to your preferences, your personality or the season. (Free first patina in Berluti's shops)
