Elegance seems to come second nature to Italian women, who combine a natural allure with a hint of playfulness. As part of the “La Famiglia Rive Gauche” exhibition, Le Bon Marché is shining the spotlight on Italian Women’s Fashion with lots of pop-up shops, exclusive pieces and the latest collections from edgy designers. 10x10 An Italian Theory created by ALLESSANDRO ENRIQUEZ is not only a brand; it takes the form of an overarching concept with a philosophy based on the positive values associated with Italy. Through his collections the designer conveys a happy and ironic vision of Italian traditions. His pieces are heavily influenced by his representation of la dolce vita with geometric and colourful patterns and lots of figurative images on long trousers. PARDEN’s reflects the same perception of Italy as a trendsetter with collections which mix vibrant colours, like red, orange and purple, and use modern materials such as neoprene to design skirts. CHIARA FERRAGNI, who is highly respected in the world of international fashion, created a collection in which she reveals her love for her country’s culture through basic pieces with clear messages like “Dolce Vita", “Bellissimo” or “Ciao Bella”. Sweet life The most beautiful Hello beautiful

Some famous Italian fashion houses also wanted to celebrate their love for Italian elegance by opening lots of pop-ups to visit in store or creating capsule collections exclusively for Le Bon Marché. For example, PRADA developed a collection of leather goods, footwear and ready-to-wear womenswear, including a bag bearing a design of the Piazza di Spagna in Rome. The PAULA CADEMARTORI label is opening a pop-up, where she is exclusively presenting her “Petite Faye” bag, with geometric shapes and pink and orange shades. Regarded as one of the most recognised names in Milan, MARCO DE VINCENZO is known on the international fashion scene for his unexpected interpretation of fabric. He is also unveiling a pop-up at the exhibition dedicated entirely to Italian culture. Finally, the AGNONA label is making its first appearance at Le Bon Marché and is celebrating the colours of Italy in its own way by creating a series of mohair jumpers with a sensual and couture feel.
