TAILOR-MADE GARMENTS, STRUCTURED SILHOUETTES, ETHNIC EMBROIDERIES

Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is ready to welcome sunny days and warmer nights : the new collections Spring-Summer 2018 have arrived at the Women Department. This season gives room to a more spontaneous and dissenting fashion, where blows a wind of modernity and freedom in long dresses.

CELEBRATE INDIVIDUALITY


Every body, every woman is unique and the designer PHILIPPINE JANSSENS, former student of the Master Tailor André Guillerme-Guilson, knows it. She recreates pants, classics of the men’s wardrobe and fully adapts it to the female bodies. From February 26th, she will be present at the 2nd Floor of le Bon Marché and will meet exceptional crafmanship’s passionates in order to customize in the most minute details their pants.
Le Bon Marché exclusively hosts the label KOCHÉ which collection, between couture, streewear and contemporary art, was made for every woman. That was the wish of Christelle Kocher, acclaimed by Karl Lagerfeld himself, when she imagines a collection with multiple codes which celebrates a contrasted feminity, dynamic and sophisticated. A NEW STRUCTURE OF THE SILHOUETTE


Thanks to her professional practice of boxing, Nellie Partow learnt that in each woman there are fights between feminity and masculinity, calm strength and power, boxing champion and fashion designer. This season, she recreated for her label PARTOW regularly structured and softened their lines. For instance, she renewed suits and mixed hypermasculinity and a casual look.


The two designers of the New York brand PROENZA SCHOULER just launched their new collection PSWL which renews basics. From outerwear to jackets or denim, or even hoodies and t-shirts, the PSWL chooses to be sober and minimalist.

ETHNIC INSPIRATIONS

The Ukrainian designer VITA KIN sewed on a selected and refined linen designs inspired by the art of embroidery Vyshyvanka and offers unique and original creations.

MARCH 11 developed a line of dresses, caftans, kimonos and shawls in airy fabrics which look like going with the wind.

CAROLINE CONSTANS's collections find the perfect harmony between summery lightness and neo-couture aura in line with the times.
