LA CARTE 24 SEVRES PROGRAM TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms & conditions for use of the La Carte 24 Sèvres program (hereafter the 'T&Cs') form the general principles for access and participation in the aforesaid program.

The La Carte 24 Sèvres loyalty program is operated by the following companies:

'Groupe Le Bon Marché' comprising the following companies:

  • Le Bon Marché SA (inc.), with share capital of €29,415,810, registered at the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 414 728 337, with registered office at 24 rue de Sèvres, 75007 Paris, France; tel: +33 (0)1 44.39.80.00, operating the store Le Bon Marché, Paris;
  • La Société d’Exploitation de La Grande Épicerie de Paris, partnership with share capital of €380,000, registered at the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 380 356 592 with registered office at 5 rue de Babylone, 75007 Paris, France; tel: +33 (0)1 44.39.81.00 operating the store La Grande Épicerie de Paris.

And

  • 24 Sèvres SAS, simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €40,000 euros registered at the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 797 737 293 with registered office at 22 rue Violet, 75015 Paris, France, operating the online sales website www.24sevres.com. It is understood that '24 Sèvres' will designate both the website and application.

ACCEPTANCE AND AMENDMENT OF THE T&CS

Signing up and participating in the Program are subject to accepting and complying with the T&Cs. By joining the Program, you are assumed, as a member (hereafter, 'Member'), to understand the T&Cs and to accept them unreservedly.

Due to possible changes in the Program, we reserve the right to modify the T&Cs. You are therefore advised to refer to the latest version of the T&Cs regularly, accessible at https://www.24sevres.com/fr-fr/24-sevres-et-vous/programme-fidelite/cgu and at http://www.lagrandeepicerie.com/24-sevres/24-sevres-cgu.html.

Furthermore, if one or more of the stipulations in the T&Cs are declared null and void under the law, a regulation or following a final legal decision issued by a competent jurisdiction, the other stipulations will remain valid and applicable.

CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURES FOR SIGNING UP TO THE PROGRAM

1. ELIGIBILITY

The Program is offered to all personal customers over 18 years of age. It is not open to trade customers or businesses. An invoice can be issued, on request, for purchases made using the loyalty card, only in the name of the person named on the loyalty card.

A customer can only sign up to the Program once - multiple accounts are not allowed.

The Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres reserve the option to request any document needed to prove a person's identity.

2. COST

There is no charge for signing up to the Program.

3. SIGNING UP TO THE PROGRAM

3.1. HOW TO SIGN UP

It is possible to sign up for the Program in-store or online.

To sign up online on 24 Sèvres, the customer:

  • must create an account by clicking 'Become a Program member' from their personal space in the 'My Loyalty Program' page.

To sign up online on www.lagrandeepicerie.com, the customer:

  • must create an account by clicking 'Become a member' in the 'La Carte 24 Sèvres' page.

To sign up in-store, the customer must be there when applying for their card and go:

  • To the checkouts and customer information desks in Le Bon Marché, Paris
  • To the customer information desk in La Grande Épicerie de Paris
  • To the checkout of the Cave de La Grande Épicerie de Paris
3.2. SIGN-UP INFORMATION

Signing up to the Program involves the customer providing the following information to the store sales advisor, or filling in the form available online. The following fields are required:

  • Title
  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail address
  • Mailing address for instore card applications

Incomplete or incorrect forms will not be accepted.

The customer guarantees the accuracy of the information entered and must report any change of information to the Groupe Le Bon Marché or 24 Sèvres, as soon as possible.

By signing up to the Program, the customer can receive communications from 24 Sèvres, Le Bon Marché, Paris and La Grande Épicerie de Paris.

4. ISSUING THE PROGRAM CARD

The Carte 24 Sèvres will be issued after signing up to the La Carte 24 Sèvres Program (hereafter 'the Program').

4.1 SIGNING UP IN-STORE

When signing up for the Program in-store, the Member will be given a physical card bearing their name (hereafter 'The Card').

The Member (or 'Principal Member') can request a duplicate card (hereafter the 'Second Card') to give someone in the same household (hereafter 'the Beneficiary') the benefits linked to their loyalty account and to enable Points to be collected on their account.

The Beneficiary of the Second Card must:

  • Be part of the same household (live at the same address) as the Principal Member
  • Be 18 years of age or over

Only one Second Card can be issued on the same account.
To get a Second Card, the Principal Member must go to the customer information desk or Customer Relations desk in the Le Bon Marché, Paris store or the customer information desk in the La Grande Épicerie de Paris store, on presentation of the card and a document proving the Beneficiary's identity.

The request can be made when signing up for the Program or afterwards. The Second card will be sent to the Principal Member's address by mail.

The Second Card is named (in the Beneficiary's name) and is not transferable.

The Second Card is subject to the same rules as the Principal Member's Card. Accordingly:

  • If the Principal Member changes status, he/she is issued a new Card and a new Second Card is issued in the Beneficiary's name.
  • If the Principal Member's card is cancelled, the Second Card is also cancelled.
  • The Beneficiary collects Points for the same account as the Principal Member.

The Beneficiary can use the benefits associated with the Principal Member's status.

4.2 SIGNING UP ONLINE

If signing up online on 24 Sèvres, the Member will be issued an electronic card linked to a loyalty number and will have access to a dedicated personal space.

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION OF THE LA CARTE 24 SÈVRES PROGRAM

This Program enables the Member to collect Points (hereafter 'Points') over a twelve-month period, when making purchases at Le Bon Marché, Paris, La Grande Épicerie de Paris and online on 24 Sèvres. Collecting Points entitles the Member to an Exclusive Reward upon reaching 500 Points, and to achieving a higher status. Each status offers specific benefits. The Program has 3 statuses.

1. COLLECTING POINTS

1.1 SCALE AND CALCULATION RULE

Spend €1 or $1 or £1 = Collect 1 Point
Points are collected from September 1st in year N to August 31st in year N+1 (hereafter the 'Period'). Your Points are reset to zero at midnight French time on August 31st, but the benefits earned (Exclusive Reward and Gift Vouchers) are valid until their expiry date.

During the first year of Program membership, having signed up for the Program in year N, the customer will collect Points until August 31st in year N+1.

For example, if a customer signs up on 1/15/N, Points will be collected from 1/15/N to 8/31/N+1.
If a customer signs up on 10/20/N, Points will be collected from 10/20/N to 8/31/N+1.

The Member will then collect Points, every year, from September 1st N+1 to August 31st N+2.

1.2 CALCULATION RULE

Points are calculated to the nearest Euro/Pound/Dollar, based on the value of purchases, using the amount paid net of discount, tax refunded and customs duties. They are credited to the Member's account on the day after in-store purchases and no later than 48 hours after delivery for online purchases. When payment is by instalments, Points are credited following the final payment. For any product ordered in-store or online requiring a delivery, Points are credited after the product has been delivered to the Member. For purchases using Click & Collect delivery, Points are credited the day after the order is collected by the Member in-store.

1.3 SCOPE

Any purchase made at the Le Bon Marché, Paris and La Grande Épicerie de Paris stores on presentation of the physical loyalty card or by giving the loyalty number for the electronic card is eligible to collect Points, excluding non-participating brands (the Member can find out the non-participating brands by contacting the Le Bon Marché or 24 Sèvres Customer Relations Department).

Any online purchase on 24 Sèvres and on www.lagrandeepicerie.com is eligible to collect Points under the same terms as in-store purchases, subject to the card being linked to the customer's Internet account when the purchase is made.

Points can be collected during Sales, Private sales and the day used for an Exclusive Reward.

Points cannot be collected for:

  • related services (deliveries, alterations, services by appointment, etc.)
  • the tax-free value of tax-free items
  • the value of purchases paid for using Gift Cards, Gift Vouchers or credit notes
  • the amount of expenditure at restaurants in Groupe Le Bon Marché stores.
  • exceptional lists (for purchases and contributions to wedding, gift, birth and moving lists)
1.4 REFUNDS

If a refund is given for an item, the corresponding Points are automatically deducted from the Points balance collected on the card. The balance of Points collected on the card cannot be negative.

A refund can only be given on presentation of the checkout receipt for in-store purchases or on receiving the return for an online order on 24 Sèvres.

2. STATUS AND CHANGING STATUS

The Program has 3 statuses:

  • La Carte 24 Sèvres, Statut Invité: 0 to 1,499 Points
  • La Carte 24 Sèvres, Statut Initié: 1,500 to 3,999 Points
  • La Carte 24 Sèvres, Statut Privilégié: more than 4,000 Points

The Member changes status upon reaching the number of Points collected during the Period matching a status, unless products are returned resulting in Points being deducted. Statuses can change upwards or downwards. The Member will be informed of a change in status.

Statut Initié and Statut Privilégié are valid for one year with effect from September 1st after they are obtained. At midnight French time every August 31st, the total of collected Points is reset to zero. At the end of each Period, the Member's Statut Initié or Statut Privilégié will be renewed automatically if the number of Points collected over the Period is greater than 1,500 Points for Statut Initié or 4,000 Points for Statut Privilégié. If the Member has not collected the appropriate number of Points for their status, then the Member will benefit from the new status appropriate to the number of Points collected over the previous Period. The Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres reserve the right to amend the terms & conditions for issuing Statut Initié and Statut Privilégié La Carte 24 Sèvres cards at any time.

For each upward change in status, the Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres allocate a new card to the Member beginning 31 days after moving up to the new status. During this period, however, it is agreed that the Member will be able to take advantage of the benefits of the new status when using the old card. For customers of Le Bon Marché, Paris and La Grande Épicerie de Paris, this card may be sent in the mail. This card will also be updated automatically in the 24 Sèvres Application.

Using the new card deactivates the old one, which in the case of a physical card should be destroyed. However, the Member retains the same account number and benefits earned (Exclusive Reward and Gift Vouchers) and can take advantage of the benefits associated with the new status as soon as the status changes.

3. USE OF BENEFITS

The benefits are only valid upon presentation of the card or electronic card on the application when making an in-store purchase or when logged in to the personal account when making an online purchase on 24 Sèvres or www.lagrandeepicerie.com.

If the card is not presented in-store or not authenticated online, the benefits/discounts will not be allocated subsequently.

The benefits are awarded to a named recipient and can only be used by the Principal Member or Beneficiary.

Only the online terms & conditions of the benefits are valid.

4. VIEWING POINTS COLLECTED AND BENEFITS AVAILABLE

The Member can view their loyalty account:

  • On Internet: in the account previously created on 24 Sèvres and on the lagrandeepicerie.com website.
  • On the 24 Sèvres Application: in the account previously created.
  • Through sales advisors: in-store or by telephone.

5. END OF THE PROGRAM

The Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres reserve the right to end or modify the Program at any time, without compensation, subject to duly notifying the Members by letter or e-mail and by announcements in-store and online, giving minimum prior notice of one month. In particular, modifications may relate to:

  • The Points scale and loyalty status;
  • Benefits;
  • The T&Cs;
  • Procedures for using the Carte 24 Sèvres.

If the Program is ended, Members will be able to use their benefits earned (Exclusive Reward and Gift Vouchers) before their expiry date and within a maximum of 6 months.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information collected is processed by the Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres in relation to subscription to the Program and for purposes of promoting and managing the Program (administering orders, supplying personalized services, communicating targeted offers) and, as applicable, by their technical partners as part of administering the Program.

Intellectual property

The tradenames used as part of the Program are registered trademarks protected by trademark law. Any unauthorized use of these trademarks is considered as counterfeit.

2. COMPLAINT

For any complaint or question relating to the Program, the Member can contact Customer Relations, as soon as possible:

  • In-store at the Customer Relations desk of Le Bon Marché, Paris
  • By telephone to the number given above
  • By letter to the address given above
  • By e-mail to the following addresses: carte24sevres@lebonmarche.fr or bonjour@24sevres.com or using the online form on lagrandeepicerie.com, stating the reason for the request and giving information enabling Customer Relations to identify and recontact the Member (first and last name, mail or e-mail address, telephone number, card number).

ENDING PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM

1. BY THE MEMBER

At any time the Member can end their participation in the Program by notifying their decision:

  • In-store: by presenting proof of identity and handing back the card;
  • By letter: sending the card with a photocopy of proof of identity to the address given above;
  • By e-mail: to the following addresses: carte24sevres@lebonmarche.fr or bonjour@24sevres.com or using the online form on lagrandeepicerie.com giving proof of identity and quoting the card number.

Ending membership of the Program will permanently delete Points collected and the benefits earned or associated with the Carte 24 Sèvres.

2. BY THE GROUPE LE BON MARCHÉ AND 24 SÈVRES

The Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres reserve the right to suspend the membership of a Member, and to deactivate the Member's card, particularly in the event of:

  • Fraud, attempted fraud or theft by the Member or related Beneficiary, in-store or online;
  • An abnormally high number of transactions on the same purchasing day and/or over several days;
  • A payment incident not settled within one month from a reminder issued by the Groupe Le Bon Marché or 24 Sèvres;
  • Action such as to disrupt operation of the Internet site, the Program or stores;
  • Not complying with these Terms & Conditions;
  • Applications for multiple loyalty cards by the same person;
  • The Member making no purchase for a consecutive period of 36 months;
  • Death of the Member.

Deactivating the card will result in the permanent loss of Points collected and the benefits earned or associated with the card, without the Member being able to claim compensation.

LIABILITY

1. COMMITMENT OF THE MEMBER

When signing up to the Program and throughout participation in the Program, the Member undertakes to provide accurate information.

Identity theft is liable to criminal prosecution.

In the event of a change in personal information, the Member must notify the Groupe Le Bon Marché, as soon as possible:

  • In-store: at the Customer Relations desk

or change them in their personal account on 24 Sèvres or lagrandeepicerie.com, attaching a photocopy / scan of a supporting document.

The Member undertakes to use the Carte 24 Sèvres in accordance with the provisions stated in these T&Cs and guarantees the Beneficiary's compliance with the aforesaid terms & conditions.

If not, the Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres reserve the option to suspend or deactivate the card under the terms stated in the previous section 'Ending Participation in the Program'.

The Member is solely responsible for the card if lost, stolen or damaged.

2. LIABILITY OF THE GROUPE LE BON MARCHÉ AND 24 SÈVRES

In general, the Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres, under a duty to provide resources, jointly manage the Program and supply the associated benefits.

The Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres shall not be liable in the event of:

  • Malfunction of the Program
  • Loss / theft / damage of the Carte 24 Sèvres

The photographs, text, graphics and information reproduced and illustrating the Program, Services and Benefits are not within the scope of the contract. The Groupe Le Bon Marché and 24 Sèvres shall not be liable in the event of an obvious discrepancy between the characteristics of products and services and their representation.

APPLICABLE LAW

These T&Cs are subject to French law.

Only the French version is valid.

Conditions and benefits of the Loyalty Program

By signing up for the La Carte 24 Sèvres loyalty Program, the Member will have access to various benefits, the scope of which is described below.

EXCLUSIVE REWARD

The Exclusive Reward allows a Member to obtain 10% of the total amount spent during this Exclusive Reward at Le Bon Marché, Paris, La Grande Épicerie de Paris and on 24 Sèvres in the form of a Gift Voucher credited to their loyalty account.

The day after 500 Points are reached, the Member can claim their Exclusive Reward on their chosen date: in-store, upon presentation of the physical or electronic card ; online, either by selecting the corresponding option in their account or at checkout, when completing the order on 24 Sèvres.

The Exclusive Reward is awarded to a named person and not transferable; it must be claimed within 6 months of reaching 500 loyalty Points.

  • If the Member claims their Exclusive Reward in-store: all purchases made in-store or online are taken into account. The purchases made in-store are taken into account from the opening time of the store, including those made before activating the Reward on that day. The purchases made online are taken into account from the moment the Reward is activated. The Exclusive Reward ends at midnight French time.
  • If the Member claims their Exclusive Reward online: all purchases made in-store on this day until it closes are counted, as well as purchases made on the 24 Sèvres site during the 24 hours after claiming the reward.
    For purchases made on 24 Sèvres, the Exclusive Reward 24-hour period will be calculated over the same time zone. The time zone will correspond to that of the billing address of the Member for online purchases on 24 Sèvres.

The Exclusive Reward is valid on Sale, Private Sale, red spot brands, excluding non-participating brands. To find out details of these restrictions, the Member can contact the Le Bon Marché or 24 Sèvres Customer Relations Department.

Only the purchase amount net of discount, tax refunded and customs duties will be considered.

The Exclusive Reward is not valid for:

  • related services (deliveries, alterations, services by appointment, etc.), nor for restaurants.
  • exceptional lists (purchases and contributions to wedding, gift, birth and moving lists),
  • Gift Card purchases,
  • the amount of tax refunded,
  • purchases made as Gift Vouchers,
  • the site www.lagrandeepicerie.com

In-store purchases made during the Exclusive Reward can only be exchanged and cannot be refunded.

For an in-store exchange of an item purchased during an Exclusive Reward for a more expensive item, if the exchange takes place on another day the difference to be paid is eligible to collect Points but is not eligible for the 10% credit as Gift Vouchers.

If an item purchased on 24 Sèvres during the Exclusive Reward is returned, the value of the Gift Voucher generated when purchasing the returned product will be reduced accordingly. If the Gift Voucher generated has already been used before the item is returned, the Member will be refunded the difference in amount between the value of the product returned and the value of the Gift Voucher used.

The Exclusive Reward cannot be combined with other discounts.

Once the Exclusive Reward is claimed, it cannot be cancelled.

Gift Voucher from Exclusive Reward

At the end of the Exclusive Reward, the Member will be granted a Gift Voucher to a value of 10% of the sums spent during the Exclusive Reward.


It is credited to the Member's loyalty account on the day after the Exclusive Reward for in-store purchases.
For any product ordered in-store or online requiring a delivery, Gift Vouchers are credited after the product has been delivered to the Member.
For purchases using Click & Collect delivery, Gift Vouchers are credited the day after the order is collected by the Member in-store.

The value of the Gift Voucher is calculated in the payment currency for purchases made during the Exclusive Reward, and cannot be transferred or exchanged. It may be converted into other currencies at the exchange rate applicable on their date of issue.

It can be used to pay for in-store purchases at Le Bon Marché, Paris, and La Grande Épicerie de Paris or online on 24 Sèvres (excluding non-participating brands), subject to the amount purchased being greater than or equal to the value of the Gift Voucher. To find out details of these restrictions, the Member can contact the Le Bon Marché or 24 Sèvres Customer Relations Department.

The Gift Voucher:

  • can be used on several different occasions in-store but only once on the 24 Sèvres site (if the value of the Gift Voucher is greater than the value of the order, the remaining amount will be credited to a new Gift Voucher);
  • is valid for 6 months;
  • is awarded to a named person and is not transferable;
  • is only valid on presentation of the physical or electronic card or any official identity document proving the Member's identity in-store or online on 24 Sèvres by logging into a personal account;
  • is valid on Sale, Private Sale and red spot brands, excluding non-participating brands;
  • is valid to pay a deposit in-store but, if the order is cancelled, the Gift Voucher will be lost;
  • is not valid for exceptional lists (purchases and contributions to wedding, gift, birth and moving lists);
  • is not valid in restaurants;
  • cannot be converted to cash;
  • is not valid on the site www.lagrandeepicerie.com ;
  • is not valid on Louis Vuitton items, online on 24sevres.com

In the event of a refund, purchases made using Gift Vouchers will only be refunded as Gift Vouchers credited to the Member's account, to be used within 6 months validity specified when the original Gift Voucher was issued.

Purchases made using Gift Vouchers are not eligible to collect Points.

EXCHANGE WITHOUT CHECKOUT RECEIPT

If the Member made an in-store purchase and presented the card, it will be possible to request in-store exchange of the purchase without presenting the checkout receipt. It is enough to present the card used for the purchase as the only proof of purchase.

It is valid for any item purchased in-store at Le Bon Marché, Paris, excluding purchases made online, according to the current terms of exchange (within 30 days, in original packaging, excluding special orders, personalized items, hygiene products, worn or used items), excluding non-participating brands. To find out details of these restrictions, the Member can contact the Le Bon Marché or 24 Sèvres Customer Relations Department.

PRIVATE SALES FROM LE BON MARCHÉ, PARIS, and 24 Sèvres

Private Sales from Le Bon Marché, Paris store are accessible on presentation of the card by Members.

Private Sales from 24 Sèvres are accessible online when logged into the Member's personal account.

Terms of access are detailed in the invitation letter or e-mail.

FREE ALTERATIONS

The Member benefits from free alterations for any purchase made at Le Bon Marché, Paris, or on 24 Sèvres orders collected from the Click & Collect desk in Le Bon Marché, Paris, excluding reduced sale items, promotions including TBM, on presentation of the card, the new item and the receipt.

The alterations are free of charge, depending on status:

  • Statut Invité: simple alterations (simple hem, simple cuff)
  • Statut Initié: simple and complex alterations (hems, cuffs, shortening, adjusting size, alterations to shoulders, crotch adjustments)
  • Statut Privilégié: simple and complex express alterations

Terms for alterations are detailed in-store.

Altered products will not be taken back or exchanged.

PREFERENTIAL PRICING AND BENEFITS FOR CULTURAL EVENTS

The Member benefits from deals at preferential prices that will be offered by e-mail or letter. The Member can take advantage of them in-store at the ticket office in Le Bon Marché, Paris, on presentation of the card, subject to availability. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded. The terms and conditions will be provided in the offer communications.

5% DISCOUNT ON LA GRANDE ÉPICERIE DE PARIS CATERING SERVICE

On presentation of the card, the Member benefits from 5% discount on ordered reception services from the Catering Service of La Grande Épicerie de Paris, including food, drinks, equipment hire and service (excluding transport).

This discount cannot be combined with other offers.

The discount is not valid on purchases made in the catering department of the La Grande Épicerie de Paris store.

5% DISCOUNT ON BOOKS

The Member benefits from a 5% discount on books, upon presentation of the card when purchasing from Le Bon Marché, Paris, and La Grande Épicerie de Paris or when logged into a personal account on www.lagrandeepicerie.com.

This discount cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions.

PERSONALIZED BENEFITS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR (OFFERS, STORE EVENTS)

Personalized benefits are sent to the Member by letter, e-mail, SMS, telephone or using push notifications on the 24 Sèvres Application. The Member will receive Personalized Offers based upon the information provided to the Program. The targeted advantages are accessible on presentation of the card and invitation in Le Bon Marché, Paris, and La Grande Épicerie de Paris stores or when logged into a personal account on 24 Sèvres.

The detailed terms of these offers are provided in the invitation letters.

FREE LA GRANDE ÉPICERIE DE PARIS DELIVERY

The Member benefits from free messenger delivery. The order is picked up by the messenger 15 minutes following purchase and delivery is made within the hour. Alternatively, the Member may select a 1-hour time slot in the same day until 9pm.

FREE PARKING

The Member benefits from 2 hours free parking in the Indigo Sèvres Babylone parking lot (rue Velpeau, 75007 Paris, France) and Indigo Passy parking lot (rue de Passy 75016 Paris).

This benefit is available under the following conditions:

The voucher cannot be partially used if parking for less than 2 hours. The Member will pay the price difference if parking for more than 2 hours.

The Member benefits from a free styling session.

This benefit is available under the following conditions:

The Member may request a book of 12 valet parking coupons at the reception desk in Le Bon Marché, Paris, and upon presentation of the card or at the Click & Collect desk when collecting a 24 Sèvres order.

The Member must then present a coupon to the valet parking attendant when returning from shopping.
